By downloading or using Drying Day ("the app"), you agree to these terms. They are short, and we have tried to keep them in plain English.
Drying Day turns third-party weather forecast data (WeatherAPI.com) into practical laundry advice: whether outdoor drying looks worthwhile, the best stretch of the day to hang washing out, roughly how long a load should take, and when to bring it back in. Everything it shows is a reading of a forecast, not a promise about the weather. Forecasts shift, rain arrives unannounced, and microclimates are real — a balcony in the shade dries differently from a sunny yard. The final say always belongs to the sky over your own line, and decisions about your washing are yours.
You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control. You may not reverse-engineer, resell, or misrepresent the app or its data as your own. The app's design, code, and content remain the property of Ostapenko Studio.
Remove Ads is a one-time, non-consumable purchase processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play. It permanently removes advertising from the app on devices signed in to the same store account, and can be restored at any time via "Restore purchases" in Settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, not by us directly.
The app depends on third-party services (WeatherAPI.com for weather data, your device's location services and notification scheduling) that we do not control. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time. We aim to keep the app working well, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and alerts may occasionally arrive late or not at all if the operating system defers them.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, the app is provided "as is", and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Ostapenko Studio is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the app — including a load of washing caught in the rain or a day's drying that ran slower than suggested. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to re-supplying the app or paying the cost of re-supply.
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts.
If these terms change, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
